Machining parts for the construction and farm equipment market requires the capacity to handle extensive, heavy parts and parts with large diameter-to-length ratio, such as axles and drive shafts. Aptech has CNC equipment with horizontal machining centers and lathes that are rugged enough to handle even the longest, heaviest parts easily and accurately.

Aptech has experience with a wide variety of plate and bar materials in carbon steel, stainless steel, various nickel alloys, chrome, non-ferrous and cast iron, including many items of pressure vessel quality that are commonly used in the mining industry. As well as the expertise to provide our customers with the best CNC machining repair and maintenance service for this industry.

All of these materials can be cut or machined to exacting requirements on short notice, complete with certified material test reports (MTRs) to minimize downtime at the mine site. We also offer access to our complete network of secondary operations, including heat treating, sandblasting and painting.
